The Institute of Religious Freedom developed consultation about the order of receiving land lots in the permanent use of Churches

The legal consultation which was promulgated on April 8 by the Institute of Religious Freedom of the city of Kyiv has for its object to help Churches and religious organizations correctly take advantage of changes in the legislation of Ukraine which allow them to acquire lot lands for permanent use. The key theme of the consultation is ways of re-registering the right of religious organizations for the lease of land lots to the right for permanent use.
The legal consultation which was promulgated on April 8 by the Institute of Religious Freedom of the city of Kyiv has for its object to help Churches and religious organizations correctly take advantage of changes in the legislation of Ukraine which allow them to acquire lot lands for permanent use. The key theme of the consultation is ways of re-registering the right of religious organizations for the lease of land lots to the right for permanent use. As was acknowledged in the document, religious organizations can use land lots at no charge only if they have been received for permanent use. At the same time, the document makes possible the application of statutory reductions in the payment of land-tax, in fact, a waiver of it. The list of documents necessary for the primary grant of a lot land in permanent use and suggested forms of the proper statements to the authorized structures is also given in the consultation.
