His Beatirude Sviatoslav personally congratulated the new rector of UCU on the 3rd of September, 2013 after the Hierarchal Divine Liturgy on the occasion of the consecration of the new academic building of UCU and the cornerstone for the construction of the university church of St. Sophia.

"I have always called Fr. Bogdan as Father - rector. In another way, I have never been able to address him. Today, I am particularly pleased to welcome him as a new-declared rector of UCU "- said the UGCC Head .

Welcoming the Father Rector, the UGCC Head said that he would have a huge piece of work. However, the Most Blessed Sviatoslav assured Fr.  Bogdan that he would support him as the Grand Chancellor of UCU and Bishop Borys (Gudziak) would also help him as the president of UCU.

«Rest assured - we are with you. For only together we can move forward in that Easter winning procession across the native Ukrainian land. I wish you all God's blessings and  all those, to whom Lord will send you,  will always be with you, as the people of God were with Moses and that they see you as a mediator of God's grace and as a person who  indicates by his rod where we should go "- said The Head of the UGCC .
