UGCC Head arrived on a pastoral visit to Canada

The Father and Head of UGCC, His Beatitude Sviatoslav began his official visit to Canada on May 2, 2014 During his stay in Canada, UGCC Major Archbishop will visit the largest cities of the country (Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa) and Greek-Catholic parishes.

Also a visit is planned to the community of the Institute of Andrey (Sheptytsky), meetings with Greek-Catholic youth, catechists, wives of priests and the clergy.  UGCC Head will also visit the Community of Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate in Toronto, and will meet with Cardinal Thomas Christopher

Collins, Archbishop of Toronto, members of the Ukrainian Catholic branch of the Knights of Columbus in Canada, and the Papal Nuncio.  On each day of his visit he will hold a Pontifical Divine Liturgy in various Greek-Catholic parishes. 

UGCC Head will conclude his visit to Canada on May 12, 2014.
