An interactive competition of child spiritual works named “O khto, khto Mykolaya liubyt?” [Oh -- who, who loves St. Nicholas?] was announced by UGCC Media Resource.

“We are encouraging you to present your children’s talents to the entire church community,” noted Rev Ihor Yatsiv, the director of UGCC Department of Information, who heads the competition organizing committee.   “If your child has already demonstrated a high ability in singing and artistic recitation, we will be pleased to disclose this talent to the entire world, to the largest church gatherings, and to encourage your child to continue reaching higher.”

“Also , even if until now, your child has only demonstrated her or his talent solely to parents, and this participation in the competition would be a debut to a wider audience, we will graciously meet your child. “

Most treasured is the sincerity and heartfelt goodness which the young competitors will present to St. Nicholas and to all of us.  “Let us bravely share these songs and verses for the glory of God!” encourages Rev. Ihor.

Children up to age 12 can demonstrate their ability to recite a spiritual/religious poem or to sing a spiritual/religious song on the website Ugcc.tv.

Registration of the video performance of your child or a child in your care to be a participant in the competition,   has to be recorded on the website Ugcc.tv by December 12th.

An interactive vote to decide the winner of the competition “Oh who, who loves St. Nicholas?” will take place on the web site Ugcc.tv, as well as on the fun-page of this Media Resource on Facebook and will last until December 18th.

St. Nicholas will recognize each participant with a gift as a memento of participation in the contest.

Contest results will be made public on St. Nicholas Feast Day – December 19th.

The final competition winner, selected by the highest combined public vote of the viewers on the Media Resource site and its Facebook site,  will be invited to Kyiv to perform at the Annual Christmas Prosfora [Breaking of Bread] hosted by UGCC Head His Beatitude Sviatoslav.
