Bill Clinton, the 42nd President of the United States of America, and George W. Bush, the 43rd President, visited the UGC Church of Sts Volodymyr and Olha in Chicago, Illinois, as a show of support for the people of Ukraine as Russian troops continue to attack.

Bill Clinton and George W. Bush joined forces to lay sunflowers wrapped in blue-and-yellow ribbons, at the foot of a cross near the Ukrainian Greco-Catholic Church of Sts Volodymyr and Olha in the Ukrainian Village of Chicago.  Bill Clinton published footage of the visit on his personal Twitter account, with the message: “America stands united with the people of Ukraine in their fight for freedom and against oppression.”

The George Bush Presidential Center published a video with a similar message from the former president: “America stands in solidarity with the people of Ukraine, which is fighting for its freedom and future.”
