Vice rector Taras Dobko: Appointment of two new vice rectors gives UCU new experience in management and education

"We are used to thinking about Myroslav Senyk and Pavlo Hobzey in the context of their work as the head of the Lviv Regional Council and the head of the Regional Department of Education. For the Ukrainian Catholic University’s period of dynamic growth, their experience in management and education will be very beneficial," said the first vice rector of Ukrainian Catholic University Taras Dobko.

For the Ukrainian Catholic University’s period of dynamic growth, their experience in management and education will be very beneficial," said the first vice rector of Ukrainian Catholic University Taras Dobko. Myroslav Senyk begins his work as vice rector of UCU on January 3, 2011, and will be responsible for the administration and operational activities of the university. Pavlo Hobzey recently became vice rector for educational and pedagogical work of the university. He will work on developing educational strategies for UCU. "Myroslav Senyk not only has a lot of experience in public administration but has also worked as vice rector of the Lviv Polytechnic National University, which is one of the largest technical universities in Ukraine. We hope that his appointment will be extremely useful for UCU, which begins building a new campus in Ukraine,” said Taras Dobko. "Pavlo Hobzey is an expert on the development of Ukraine's education system and the implementation of education policy. As is known, he is one of the founders of the Center for Educational Monitoring in Kyiv and the Center of Education Policy in Lviv. He was the director of international projects and is the co-author of research in the sphere of the decentralization of education, civic education, and development of educational strategies,” said Taras Dobko.
