“We need to minister the many Greek Catholics who live in the East. We do not go to convert others, but to help those who have kept their faith. This is our task,” noted Patriarch Lubomyr, the head of UGCC, in an interview. With the blessing of Joseph (Milyan), auxiliary bishop of the Kyivan Archeparchy, an effort has begun to establish parishes of the UGCC in Yagotyn and Pereyaslav-Khmelnytskyj of the Kyivan region. “We together with you are witnesses to the Kyivan Archeparchy’s fast development. But not all faithful can pray in their towns in a Greek Catholic church. Our task is to find these people and to serve them,” Bishop Joseph noted.  If someone knows about faithful of the UGCC who live in those cities, we kindly ask to report this to Fr. Oleh Panchynyak at the cell phone number 097 213 80 70
